PGDIS, one year programme, aims at spreading awareness of information security and protection, provide protection and security to personal data, build data oriented infrastructure in the companies, raises high professional ethics in the individuals and students towards providing information security and enables them to experiment and learn the skills and techniques required for providing protection and security to the information.

Eligibility:

The eligibility for PGDIS is B.Sc (Computer Science)/ BCA / B.Tech (Computer Science)/ B.Tech (IT) or its equivalent. Students with Bachelor Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute with CIT/CIC/ACISE/CISE from IGNOU or a Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application from a Govt. recognized institute with a minimum duration of 6 months or studied Computer Course as part of the curriculum in Bachelor/PG Degree or a bachelor’s degree with one year working experience in Computer application/ IT will also be considered eligible for the programme.

Fee Structure:

Rs.21,600/- for full programme to be paid semester wise @Rs. 10,800/- per semester in the favor of "IGNOU" payable at New Delhi, in the form of 'Demand Draft'.

The Application Forms duly completed with Course fee for Semester-I along with attested Marksheets, certificates in support of your educational qualifications should be submitted to the following places mentioned as above. The application form will be scrutinized and admission will be confirmed by the Regional Directors, if it is found in order. Self-instructional material will also be provided to the students by the Regional Directors.
